Isabella & Henry {Claremont Child and Family Photographer}

I love photographing these kids as much as I adore just hanging out with them. Henry and Isabella are one of my best friend’s kids and I love them to pieces. It really is true that time just flies by… Jenn and I have know each other for 13 years! Isabella was the first person to call me “Auntie Erin” and every time she does it just melts my heart. Don’t tell them, but they are some of my favorites!

At one and four years old they are very bright, full of energy, and super funny. I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites from the last time we got to hang out and play around.

Isabella has been posing for my camera since she was in her mom’s tummy… As you can tell, she is a seasoned pro.

Isabella is so expressive, both verbally and in her facial expressions. I think this one with her huge smile is so adorable. She is scrunching up her shoulders because I just told her I was going to tickle her!

One is a very active, busy age… especially for boys! I got some great shots of Henry… but he was moving around so quickly he definitely made me work for his shots. Candid or action shots are the way to go for photos of toddlers.

One of my favorite families ever! Paul and Jenn are amazingly loving parents and we are so lucky to count them as friends.

The past year has been a whirlwind for me and I can hardly believe that January is almost over! I do not want to delay any longer, (I may blink my eyes and it will be summer time) so I am finally going to share some of my favorite portraits from this past year. Thank you to all of my clients for welcoming me into your homes and lives like I was another “auntie” to your children. It’s in large part due to your big hearts that makes me love creating portrait photography as much as I do. I am honored and humbled to be able to document your growing families over the years. Thank you.

Sweet Meg | Pasadena Child Photographer

Meg is one of the sweetest little girls I have photographed! She is clearly adored by her mama and she readily adores Roza right back. Just look at those shared snuggles and giggles. I have enjoyed working with Roza in our shared field (newborns) and I couldn’t wait to meet her daughter at our session. Meg looked gorgeous in her red Christmas dress and she even had a stylish little red purse to match… that she insisted on having in a few photos.

I have chosen my favorite four images to display in a storyboard. Storyboards are a great way to showcase several images from a session and arrive mounted and ready for display with or without a frame. This one is a 16×20 inch storyboard and it would look lovely on any prominent wall or photo ledge.

Roza, thank you for introducing me to one of the loves of your life and for a meaningful conversation during our session. Enjoy this little preview from your session!

Angel Baby | Pasadena Baby Photographer

Gorgeous mama. Gorgeous baby. I have enjoyed photographing this family for years. They grew from a family of three to a family of five, right before my very eyes. With two older brothers, this little baby girl is going to have to learn quickly how to run if she wants to keep up with her brothers. You can tell that I got the best smiles from the boys when they got to be silly, get tickled by their dad, and have a race with their family. Thanks for playing and loving on each other so I could document some real moments of your family.

No matter how busy this time of year can be, it’s always an honor and a privilege to capture moments like these.
