I had a wonderful time photographing Jacqueline and Leslie. We captured so many stunning images and I truly look forward to seeing where their careers take them in the future.

It took me a long time to get to this point. I heard about Twitter several years ago from some other photographer friends, but I was a hard one to convince. I am fairly private with my personal life, so the idea of putting my thoughts and tweets online for anyone and everyone to see just felt so odd to me. But, I know it has become a really important aspect of business. After months of thinking to myself, “I really need to get a Twitter account for my business,” I finally did it! There is a lot of pressure to think of something creative or funny for your first tweet so I decided to take the pressure off and just start already. I am working on a project that has led me on a little walk down memory lane. I love looking back remembering each newborn, child, and family that I have had the privilege of photographing over the years. Here is a screen shot of part of my project in the works. Hello 2010!

Looking back at 2009 has reminded me what is most important in my life. Regardless of what happens throughout the year, with the day-to-day ups and downs, what matters most are the people in my life and the relationships we share. I have some really amazing people that I get to walk through life with and I am exceedingly grateful for them. Some of those wonderful people allowed me to be a part of their lives through photography. This slideshow includes an image from *almost* every session I shot in 2009. Thank you for the honor of inviting me into your lives. I am excited to see what 2010 has in store!
