The past year has been a whirlwind for me and I can hardly believe that January is almost over!  I do not want to delay any longer, (I may blink my eyes and it will be summer time) so I am finally going to share some of my favorite portraits from this past year.  Thank you to all of my clients for welcoming me into your homes and lives like I was another “auntie” to your children.  It’s in large part due to your big hearts that makes me love creating portrait photography as much as I do.  I am honored and humbled to be able to document your growing families over the years.  Thank you.

Great Joy | Hollywood Newborn photographer

Just wanted to share a *favorite* from a recent shoot in Hollywood.  I have been so excited to share the images from this session… between a gorgeous baby girl, adoring parents and absolutely stunning light in the bedroom it was one of my favorite session of the year.  Just one for tonight, but more to follow soon.

Sweet Meg | Pasadena Child Photographer

Meg is one of the sweetest little girls I have photographed! She is clearly adored by her mama and she readily adores Roza right back.  Just look at those shared snuggles and giggles.  I have enjoyed working with Roza in our shared field (newborns) and I couldn’t wait to meet her daughter at our session.  Meg looked gorgeous in her red Christmas dress and she even had a stylish little red purse to match… that she insisted on having in a few photos.

I have chosen my favorite four images to display in a storyboard.  Storyboards are a great way to showcase several images from a session and arrive mounted and ready for display with or without a frame.  This one is a 16×20 inch storyboard and it would look lovely on any prominent wall or photo ledge.

Roza, thank you for introducing me to one of the loves of your life and for a meaningful conversation during our session.  Enjoy this little preview from your session!

Angel Baby | Pasadena Baby Photographer

Gorgeous mama. Gorgeous baby.  I have enjoyed photographing this family for years.  They grew from a family of three to a family of five, right before my very eyes.  With two older brothers, this little baby girl is going to have to learn quickly how to run if she wants to keep up with her brothers.  You can tell that I got the best smiles from the boys when they got to be silly, get tickled by their dad, and have a race with their family.  Thanks for playing and loving on each other so I could document some real moments of your family.

No matter how busy this time of year can be, it’s always an honor and a privilege to capture moments like these.

Adored Little Lady | Pasadena Child and Family Photographer

Tis the season for holiday portraits!  This is the first of many that I will be sharing on the blog over the next few weeks.

I had a wonderful time photographing this fun-loving family.  Sweet Adeline is about and a half and she made me laugh so much during our session.  I love meeting toddlers with a sense of humor.  She is playful, curious, energetic, funny and by the end of the shoot I had clearly made a new friend.  She is absolutely the apple of her parents’ eye and very well loved!
